It is situated in the district of Coimbatore. It is basically a hills station will all its specification. At the East of Valparai is Udumalpet, West Parambikulam, North of Valparai lie Topslip and at the south its Munnar.
Getting in to Valparai:
It is 64-km drive from Pollachi to Valparai itself an alien experience. En route is the Indira Gandhi Wild Life Sanctuary where lion-tailed macaque, the Nilgiri and the common langur, Malabar giant squirrel, elephant, gaur, spotted deer, Sambar, barking deer and wild boar reside. Very good road condition and vehicle facilities provided by the Government of Tamil Nadu and also many private tourist agencies are also functioning.
